Tomorrow 13 kids, including my daughter, ages 6-7 years old will play a one hour high-energy game of soccer. it’s our day to bring treats. Worse yet, Kevin (Dad) is the coach. This means that I cannot pull out the raw food bars and hope the team likes them, my husband would be so embarrassed! I need to find something that meets both our family value of “clean” and the mainstream 6 year old taste buds for “good”. To multiply the pressure, two players have severe allergies (toxins!). So here is what was decided to meet the clean standard and keep smiles on the kids’ faces.
Exciting? Maybe not for most kids, but mine will know it’s a treat to have the juice drink! Best of all my daughter will not have the over-tired, junk-food crabbies after the game. I bet the other parents will be surprised how much the children enjoy this treat!
