Mission: Get Clean from Classroom Pizza Party

The last day of school pizza party, YUCK!

I didn’t have to pack my kids lunch today.  That was fine with me.  I really don’t enjoy the task very much.  However, the reason I didn’t need to pack the lunches is because the class is having a pizza party.  The teachers are giving them a treat and taking this one meal into perspective of the whole day, I let my children enjoy the social time.

The real challenge is when they get home from the toxic high.  Eating processed foods, artificial colors and drinking juice causes my children to go off the deep end most of the time.  So here is my game plan:

1.  Pick up from school and give ph balanced drink (greens that have a hint of mango, you can pick up different versions at health/whole foods stores).

2.  After the greens have been drank, provide with raw veggies, fruits & nuts.

3.  Get an adjustment at the chiropractor.  We go 2x per week for our immune system. (want more info on how I afford it, just ask!)

4.  Continue feeding raw foods and water throughout the evening.

Depending on how hungry they are after their mainstream feast, they may be full once they have eaten their fruits & veggies, raw nuts, however, if needed I will cook some brown rice and add in some stir fry vegetables.  YUM!

NOTE:  This morning I prepared for the disaster of a lunch by giving my girls steel cut oatmeal with raw honey, cinnamon and raisins.

Come on Moms!  We can do this.  We can enjoy the mainstream and raise our children healthy too!

beautiful! a plan to let them participate…when I think about this stuff, which oddly enough, I do with some frequency, even though I don’t have children, I do think that we should probably allow for this sort of participation if we want to avoid rebellion and not let the kids feel ostracized by their different rules…

this is admirable and thoughtful planning…

I guess I think about this a lot because I think about where it all starts…at birth…at pregnancy…

    sometimes I think about becoming a midwife…once I’m well.
