Mission of the Day: Yummy Breakfast

It’s time to go, go, go…..NOW!

Yep, it was one of those mornings. The kids slept in late and I took advantage by waiting to get up until I heard noise. That put us about 15 minutes behind in getting ready for school. I hate making the kids rush and eat. I was thankful I had an alternative.

Meal shakes are usually not meant for kids or the entire family. Either they are chemical filled, made for weight loss or simply taste bad. YUCK!

I took my time to research what I could use in a pinch for breakfast, sometimes it’s organic yogurt, a raw food organic bar or a piece of fruit with cereal in the baggie to go. Today we tried a new meal shake and it was a WINNER!

My girls thought they were being treated by having dessert for breakfast. Here’s the best part, no chemicals, heavy metals or artificial ingredients. Even better it is a nutritional powerhouse with at least 45% of daily values for 19 vitamins & minerals, calcium, fiber, and protein too!

With a low glycemic level I don’t have to worry about them crashing and burning at school either. Hey, we even made it with rice milk instead of cow’s milk and it rocked!
